Kevin Warren’s Wife Greta Was The First To Graduate In Her Family

Kevin Warren, the former commissioner of the Big Ten Conference, has been happily married to his wife, Greta Warren, for over three decades. The Warrens are blessed with two children and are humbly celebrating life.

While the two have kept the spark alive for decades as a couple, Greta and Kevin come from vastly different backgrounds.

Growing up in Kansas, Greta watched her father start his own BBQ business when she was only seven. She fondly recalled her past in a conversation with the Minnesota Vikings how she grew up supporting her father and seeing the results of his hard work.

Although Greta continued helping her family restaurant, her parents encouraged her to prioritize education. As a result, she earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in theater from Kansas State University, becoming the first in her family to graduate from college.

Blessed With Two Children: Peri & Powers

Kevin and his wife, Greta, have welcomed two beautiful kids: a daughter, Peri, and a son, Powers.

Kevin Warren’s son, Powers Warren, was born on November 24, 1998. He has since made remarkable achievements despite facing a traumatic accident as a child.

He got into a car accident as a child resulting in months of treatment and a body cast. Moreover, doctors even warned that he might never walk again.

However, the young Warren overcame the disaster, becoming a tight end for the Michigan State football team.

He later attended IMG Academy. In 2021, Powers announced he will be continuing his collegiate career at Michigan State via a Tweet.

While Powers is garnering attention for his accomplishment, Kevin Warren’s daughter, Peri Warren, maintains a low profile.

The proud mother, Greta, is grateful for their lifestyle and opportunities; she feels they must understand the value of hard work.

Kevin And Greta Launches Warren Family Foundation

The President of Chicago Bears, Kevin Warren, and his wife, Greta Warren, firmly believe in philanthropy.

The Warren couple has made it their mission to give back to the community, particularly in Minneapolis. One of their notable charity was adopting Lucy Craft Laney Community School in 2012. The preschool is a predominantly African American school, with 98% student population coming from minority communities.

Furthermore, the Warrens donated 900 backpacks with school supplies to the student.

Additionally, they also provided $5000 in scholarships for four students who will be the first in their families to attend college.

The philanthropic couple also partnered with the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital and donated $1 million to establish Carolyn’s Comfort, a children’s Cancer emergency assistance fund aimed at helping families to address the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.

To enrich children’s lives through education, the power couple started a non-profit organization, Warren Family Foundation, in 2019.

Moreover, the foundation’s motto, “To embrace, educate + empower students along their journeys,” highlights their commitment to ensuring that every child has access to quality education and the support they need.

Greta, along with her husband, continues to make a significant impact on their community through their philanthropic efforts.
